Stefan sighed, still angry about all that had gone on that day. He glanced down to the picture of Katherine when he heard a loud noise, which was then followed by a crow flying into the room. He glared up at it, trying to work out what was going on, before he spun around, and unfortunately for him saw a very familiar face.

He smiled and looked at Stefan as he straightened his leather jacket. "Hello little brother. Long time no see." He smirked moving to lean against the desk. "Love what you've done with the place. Very... emo like." He said picking up a paper weight so he could throw it from hand to hand.

Stefan rolled his eyes at Damon, wanting nothing more than the idiot to leave. He ignored all of his stupid immature comments and just stared at him, angrily. "What are you doing here, Damon?" Stefan asked with raised eyebrows.

Stefan walked up close to his older brother "It has been years since you have been in Mystic Falls, so why do you return now?" Inside he knew the answer, but he didn't want it to be true.

"What no hug? No welcome back for your favourite brother?" He smirked throwing the weight to his left hand before placing it on the table. "I made you a promise brother. Oh so long ago. Im here to carry that out."

"Same reason as you Steffy. Little Elena. So innocent and sweet, i can imagine how good she'd taste." He said giving him his signature smirk. "Would be a shame to drain her dry. But soooooooo worth it."

"Just go Damon, ruin your own life, instead of mine for a change." he muttered, not losing the eye contact. "I honestly don't care brother, leave Mystic Falls, before you have an urge to kill anyone else." he growled.

"Stay away from Elena, she is not Katherine." Stefan informed him, wanting to kill him at that moment in time. "If you even lay a finger on her, I will kill you."

"Awww you don't love me anymore?" He mock pouted. "Hold on." He said getting to his feet and looking around. "Where'd you put those violins?" He said turning to look at his brother. "No i think im goin to stick around. Seems much more fun here." He smiled. "Aww but hurting you is my favourite sport brother. There just nothing like seeing that cute little smile." He said half smiling and half mimicking his brothers pout.

"Oh i know that. Shes too innocent to be Katerine." He said brushing his jacket down. "Don't tempt me brother. It only makes her more appealing and i would love a good drink round about now." He said smiling to reveal his fangs.

"Shut up," Stefan growled at his idiotic sibling. He ignored his childish quips, hating the way that Damon thought he was better than Stefan because of an age difference. "Is your life that boring that you have to annoy me every second of it?" he asked him with his voice thick with sarcasm.

"Just shut up!" Stefan shouted, and in the same second he jumped at Damon, his eyes turning dark, and ended up flipping them both out of the window.
